    Rashid Khamis Mbarouk Is an avid Mountaineer climber, OutDoors Enthusiast, and adventures Lover. Founder -CEO of GLOSSYADVENTURES TANZANIA SAFARIS AND TREKKINGS and President and Founder of ALL GLOSSYADVENTURES PROJECTS, a 501(c)(3) Non-profit, He has climbed and led expeditions to Mountain Kilimanjaro The highest mountain in Africa and Free Standing Mountain in the World wide, and the Mount Meru the Second Peaknin Tanzania, including summiting Mt. Mount Kenya in 2015. Rashid is the former president of GLOSSY VOLUNTEERS PROGRAMS AND BIKETOURS Backcountry Rescue and in TANZANIA representative to the International Commission of Alpine Rescue, where he served for over a decade. He is an avalanche instructor with the American Avalanche Association, a professional ski patrolmen and avalanche forecaster for Snowbird Ski Resort, and a level-III certified U.S. Sailing Captain. Rashid has recently made a self-supported ski Traverse of the Greenland Icecap and sailed a Transatlantic Ocean crossing. He has also authored the book, Inspired – Lessons Learned from a Life of Adventures. Rashid has taught and guided people of all ages and professions and is well known for his professional ethics and conduct evident in all of his pursuits. She is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at KCMC University of Tanzania and works clinically at Bombo Hospital In Tanga addition to being a board certified Emergency Physician, She has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Moshi Kilimanjaro and work with Us GlossyAdventures for 3 Non-profit organizations (International Society for Emergency Care, Soft Power Health, and EMEDEX International) which work to provide reciprocating educational opportunities and develop self-sustaining medical infrastructure for emerging nations. Dr. Getruder Prosper serves on the educational committee for the Wilderness Medical Society and is a nationally recognized speaker on travel-related illness. When not at work, She can be found in a far off location with his Husband and their two little world-travelers.
